Hype 1.1.1
Jan 18th
So a new version of hype is released over at http://hype.joshuadavis.com/. The coolest thing about it is the new PNG functionality.
“ContextSavePNG which allows you to rip your small Flash canvas to a much larger transparent PNG.” – Joshua Davis @ http://vimeo.com/8809042
Its now very easy to use HYPE for large printing, whoho!
Ps. I have just tested it on some stuff i made before and you can see a clear difference in the quality of the output.
Old
New
The first one was saved as 640*360 by the good old print screen. While the second one was saved with the new PNG Context as 9600 * 5400 and then resized to 640 * 360. (Overkill ? =) )
Gridlayout
Jan 15th
I have played around today with the gridlayout to se how to combine that with mousefollow. What I do is, I place some clips in the gridlayout, then i constantly calculate the distance between the mouse curser and the clips in the gridlayout. With that information i can for example change the rotation of the clips according to the mouse position. (Move Mouse Over)
Someone must have made something like this before, and better; but i could code this in just a couple of hours. That is what i like with hype.
Extra
Because of lag i also added them as links so one can test them in separate windows.
Halloween contest
Jan 15th
The hype competition is over and im glad to say i won it. It all started when i saw a Joshua Davis presentation and was inspiered to start playing with hype .
I must say i am very impressed by the other contesters and what they have accomplished. Read all about it here . I would also like to congratulate Thomas Kräftner who splitt the nr1 spot with me.

Spiraling spiral code
Jan 14th
Here is the code to the spiraling spirals with hype. The examples from 11-16 shows some spiraling spiral capability.
Unfortunately i did not save the creations i did before so the examples are a little bit different than http://www.jlindholm.com/2009/12/spiraling-sprials/
( spirals-0.2 get hype at http://hype.joshuadavis.com/ )
Update: New examples
The code to the above five exampels can be found here. You still need hype and the spirals-0.2 code also posted above.
